RETURN & REFUND POLICY

Thank you for choosing STRX Technologies for your technology needs. To ensure clarity and transparency, we have outlined our policies regarding returns, refunds, warranties, and claims below. By purchasing products or services from STRX Technologies, LLC, you agree to the terms set forth in this document.
For the purposes of this policy:
"Us" / "We": STRX Technologies or STRX
"You": The Customer.
"Carrier": The shipping company (e.g., UPS, FedEx).
1. General Return Policy (All Sales Final)
All sales of Devices and Services are FINAL.
We do not offer returns or refunds on physical devices, custom computers, or completed services, except where explicitly stated in the "Claims" section below for defective or damaged items.
Used Products: Sold "AS IS" with no warranty.
New Products: Subject to the original Manufacturer's Warranty (see Section 4).
Custom Computers: Subject to specific warranty terms outlined in Section 4.
2. Subscriptions & Cancellations
Subscriptions are non-refundable; however, you retain the right to cancel future renewals subject to the following terms:
Cancellation Window: You may cancel a subscription up to 24 hours prior to the renewal date.
Commitment Terms: If your subscription includes a commitment term (e.g., a 12-month contract) and you choose to cancel prior to the end of that term, the remaining balance of the contract will be charged immediately upon cancellation.
Service Appointments: Services no longer incur a specific cancellation fee. However, all payments for services rendered are non-refundable.
3. Claims: Damaged or Defective Items
If you receive a product that is defective or was damaged during shipping, you must follow the strict procedures below to be eligible for a resolution.
A. Damaged in Shipping
If your package arrives damaged, you must notify us immediately.
Notification Period: You must email hello@strxtech.com within 48 hours of delivery.
Evidence: You must photograph the damaged device and ALL packing materials.
Retention of Materials: You generally must keep the shipping box, product box, bubble wrap, and all accessories.
Resolution: We will file a claim with the Carrier (e.g., UPS or FedEx).
Refunds: A refund will be issued only after the Carrier closes the case.
Replacements: Alternatively, a replacement may be sent after claim approval.
B. Defective Devices (Hardware Issues)
For devices that are defective but not damaged in shipping:
RMA Request: Contact us to initiate a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA).
Inspection: All returned devices are subject to inspection by STRX Technologies. A refund will be issued only after the device has been inspected and the defect confirmed.
False Claims & Return Shipping: If a device is returned for a defect claim but our inspection determines the device is fully functional, or that the issue was caused by software (viruses/malware) or user damage, the return will be denied. You will be responsible for the cost of return shipping back to you, plus a diagnostic fee of $45.
Return Requirements:
Data Removal: The device must be wiped of all personal data if it was turned on or used.
Condition: The device must not show any signs of neglect, physical damage, viruses, malware, or other user-caused issues.
Packaging: All original packing materials (boxes, manuals, cables) must be returned.
Incomplete Returns: Missing parts or accessories will result in the denial of your claim.
Abandoned Devices: If a claim is denied and the customer fails to pay for return shipping or fails to respond to communication within 30 calendar days, the device will be considered abandoned. STRX Technologies reserves the right to recycle or dispose of abandoned property to recover storage costs.
4. Warranty & Repairs
Your warranty coverage depends on the specific type of product purchased. Please refer to the categories below to determine how to proceed with a claim or repair.
New Products: All new products are subject to the original Manufacturer Warranty. Claims must be submitted directly to the manufacturer for RMA or repair. STRX Technologies does not process warranties for standalone new products unless explicitly stated otherwise.
Used Products: All used products are sold "AS IS" and are not covered by any warranty.
STRX Custom Computers: Custom builds are subject to the Manufacturer Warranty for each individual component (typically 1 year). To exercise this warranty, you must ship the unit back to STRX Technologies or arrange for a repair. In some cases, a free at-home repair may be available.
Extended Warranty (Akko): If you purchased an extended protection plan via Akko, do not contact STRX Technologies for claims. All claims for repairs or accidental damage must be submitted directly through the Akko platform.
STRX Complete: Please be advised that "STRX Complete" is a technical service plan and is not an extended warranty. This plan covers support services only and does not provide coverage for hardware defects, accidental damage, or replacement parts.
5. Refund Timelines & Payment Methods
We exclusively use Stripe for payment processing online. This includes payments made via Affirm, Klarna, and Afterpay. Payments in-person may be made with Stripe or Square depending on the transaction type.
Standard Refunds: Once approved, refunds to Credit/Debit cards typically take 5–10 business days to appear in your account.
Financing (Affirm/Klarna/Afterpay): Once approved, refunds for financed purchases typically take 3–7 business days to post, but in some cases may take up to 30 calendar days depending on the financing provider.
Square (In-Person): Once approved, refunds to Credit/Debit Cards, Cash App / Cash App Pay, and Afterpay (including Cash App Afterpay) typically take 9-14 business days to appear in your account.

6. Data Loss & Liability
STRX Technologies is not responsible for any data loss that occurs during shipping, repair, or inspection. It is the customer's sole responsibility to back up all data prior to shipping a device to us. We accept no liability for lost files, software, or operating systems.
STRX Technologies reserves the right to deny any claim that does not meet the criteria listed above.
