For customers utilizing our computer repair or IT services:

  • Device Access: We may require Device Passwords or PINs to access your device for diagnostics and repair.

  • Recommendation: We strongly urge all users to remove passwords, PINs, and sensitive data prior to dropping off a device. If you provide credentials to us, you consent to our technicians using them strictly for the purpose of the repair. STRX is not responsible for data privacy on devices that are not wiped or unlocked prior to service.

C. Usage & Technical Data

We automatically collect information on how the Service is accessed and used ("Usage Data"). This may include:

  • Internet Protocol (IP) address.

  • Browser type and version.

  • Time spent on pages and unique device identifiers.

  • Session recordings and heatmaps (via Microsoft Clarity).

  • Repair Data: Passwords and PINs collected for repairs are purged from our internal tickets after the service is marked complete.

10. Government & Defense Data (ITAR / CUI) Disclaimer

STRX Technologies provides services to Department of Defense (DoD) contractors and handles sensitive data. However, our public-facing website, live chat (Tawk.to), and standard web forms (Zoho) are NOT authorized channels for the transmission of:

  • Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI)

  • ITAR-Restricted Technical Data

  • Classified Information

Do NOT submit sensitive defense-related data via this website. Clients requiring the transfer of CUI or ITAR-restricted data must utilize the specific Secure File Transfer channels established in your Service Agreement or contact your STRX account manager for a secure link. Data submitted via public forms is processed by third-party vendors (Tawk.to, Zoho) which may not meet FedRAMP High or ITAR access restrictions. STRX Technologies accepts no liability for data spills caused by the unauthorized submission of CUI/ITAR data through public website channels.

11. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date at the top. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes.
